80 jobs are to be created by the developer of a high speed but low energy-using communications network.The 'Exemplar communications test bed' is being developed by Irish company Intune Networks and supported by a €5m investment by the Government.
The aim is to ensure high quality data can be transferred quickly without generating big energy bills. This is an attractive proposition for international technology companies who have been troubled by costly bottlenecks on data networks.
